Growing up going to tide pools in the Monterey area, I have always been fascinated by tiny spaces and the creatures that inhabit them.

After learning pottery and ceramic forms in college, I began making “tiny pots” to hold small things and interact with my tiny wire and ceramic sculptures.
My interest in tiny things stems from early exposure to Japanese miniature arts and crafts, and an interest in folk and fairytales about tiny worlds.
